Historically we've always been rather good at that weird ring thing? 

I think I've worked out why. It's our obsession of building roundabouts rather than intersections. Milton Keynes being the black run of the cyclists trying to get out! Also Alien v Insect helmets, we're down with that too, but I have no theory on that one?
