Like any writer when they see sales and ranking plummet nearly to half from one month to the next they get really (cataclysmically) disheartened. But these little figures cheered me up when I added them together in my secret sassy spreadsheet hidden behind some banal P & L that I ought to take a look at at some point!
We have to get better at sales before I can leave the grey dull world of spreadsheets all together and concentrate on these lovely pink ones. I promise to give myself pep talks and make you trade reports each week if YOU, the BRFFP (Best Readers, Followers, Fans and Public) become my bosses! I tried for a clever BFG ref there but couldn't think of anything but Gangnam and Girlfriends... and not all my readers are ladies;) Don't want to do a Mitt and exclude half the planet!

ANYONE FANCY JOINING THE RANKING RALLY

I just don't know what else to do, I'm torn between Book 3 and my plummeting rankings:( I know blogging n' all is part of keeping in touch with your followers, readers and I do "twitter" on so Twitter is practically my natural habitat;)
But I was wondering if we can kick start the sales again in one go and if you kind ladies (&gents) would do a rally tomorrow and gift a copy of one of my books to your friends.
"Utter cheek, this is an OUTRAGE!" I hear you cry, has this woman no shame?! Well no... not anymore it's giving me writers block, so again another chicken and egg situation.
(How will I write those saucy scenes without that exuberance of delusional confidence a writer has to be carried away with). And take a look at these rankings compared to 2 weeks ago, my presidential campaign has backfired like a cheap replica of megatron !

Even though I got a shocking review you still pummel on with the numbers (HUGE GRATITUDE TO UNCLE SAMMYs), actually the reviewer was rather a nice Lady who had the old (un-proofed copy) so she's updating her version and giving it a second shot, we all deserve second chances... but as women we reserve the right to not fix that as our roof figure. "Limitless quantity" is what we really like otherwise how will we generate our multiplying options, our brains are hard wired to multi-everything!

I desperately need some of you to post a nice review of MUOM.... someone's done such a rotten one it's banished my star rating to oblivion:( I'm saddened;(((( I write in between everything trying to fulfil a dream.
All I'm trying to do is entertain not enter the noble prize for literature... girls just wanna have fun and by being so mean you'll just stop someone else having a bit of a giggle for no price at all really!  Anyone out there??? Anyone feeling generous?.... will go and stare into space now with sad fish face ;(

KINDLE UPDATE NEWS FOR NINA WHYLE BOOKS

After uploading new versions (proof read!) of both my books onto Kindle many of you have been asking when you can get the updated versions. I've written to Amazon and asked if they would let you know but it seems more likely (if they deem the changes important-I have no power over that decision)
that you can go in and update them yourselves, so they probably won't send an email to you directly.

But I have to wait for them to confirm what they will do (can take 4wks:(... if they do anything at all. I have pleaded with them and that its so important you all have the chance to update and my readers are invaluable to me and them!

So lets hope they let me know soon, keep track on updates through the blog as I won't be able to e-mail you all ( wouldn't want to miss anyone out.) Tell you friends too if they've also got older versions. Of course I'm not adverse from you buying it again;) get me steam rolling up those ranking charts but I know that's far too cheeky!!! (But by all means feel free, it'll give me a restful mind on Book3)

TOP-HATS to JULY or AUGUST

July was the busiest month for book sales, August is good everyone but we need to keep breaking targets and we have a 490 meter climb to finish today if that's to happen. A few reasons to recommend or gift the book (if you are purchasing from .com).
1) Makes HAPPY HAPPY all around.
2) Disillusion fly out of writers mind so she can concentrate of Book 3.
4) If growth continues, writer gives up rat race and write more because she can buy bread & WINE!
5) Share what you like yourself and giggle.
6) Has anyone got a 600 member strong book-club that's meeting next week, if so pls choose me xxx
7) We have 1 Day to beat July... Busy fingers please

TOP 10 on Kindle - Usain Bolt-ness Required!

I'm told when you get into the TOP # 10 on Kindle's rankings the books market themselves and blogging takes a back seat... So calling all Usian Bolt fans, it's only ca. 190 meters no sweat or bother for my sprinter readers! (You may recall the sports metaphors don't stop until that happens.)
Unless you're all enjoying the blogs then I vow to do both. My decrepit MacBook will be replaced with one that has complete cover at least, although the sellotape holding its dignity together has become a dear friend of mine!
Oh yes writers incur wear and tear on their inventory too or am I just being too heavy handed with adjectives?!  Maurice McBook is in serious need of fillers. Then I can safely write wherever I am and keep you all up-to-date on what boogles my mind on a day to day basis---which is pretty much everything, so no shortage of material there or for the books! Plus you'll get more books if I can give up the rat race and they'll be proof read before they go up;)
