UK v DK - Pace of Life
Both countries have so much to offer, but when I look at " the young mother stressed out friends" I'm leaning towards Denmark, why be penalised for having children. Some Mums just work to try and cover childcare? The meaning of that UK... is? Hmmm not really beneficial for anyone or society.

Very interesting article.
My response, eat all your psychometric papers and present them in a regurgitative collage! Someone in another office judges you without the courtesy of even introducing themselves to you.
So when you're at stage 4/5 and an absolute grey suit disqualifies you for being too decisive!!!
(even when you're going for management) You should walk anyway!

suppose it could be the booze amplifying my suspicions of them together?
Oh,
I don’t know … maybe he was that all along, a charlatan all this time and I’m
only now beginning to see him in his natural habitat.
An
awful retching cough from upstairs pulls me out of my reverie. I crouch down
even further from the window sill. Ah yes, the aftershave! I suppose my actions are no better or
logical than a girl shielding herself from the monsters under the bed. And the
monster has surfaced. I remain still, listening intently for the heavy
footsteps to bundle down the stairs.
We
live (or cohabit would be a more accurate description of the true situation) in
a duplex. It’s not that glam but hey, this is London, and we have two very
small floors and not just the ‘very typical’ squalid studio room. Piers’s
father is generous that way. Probably why I fell for Piers in the first place:
digs that didn’t need fumigating every month, no damp in your treasured
wardrobe. A lot less has appealed and swayed women on a budget at university!

Long ago I accepted that I was no real beauty not in
the conventional way. My nose is way too big but I have a wide smile, which I
always thought balanced it out reasonably well. If my arm was twisted and I was
forced to choose one feature I liked best then I would say my eyes. They are
large, wide-set… - and the colour of melted dark chocolate framed with
enviously long black lashes, my best friend gushed after one too many
chardonnays. OK this is a drunken female frame of reference but it is a
reference. Of course that is what best friend’s are for but Marissa isn’t here
so it's up to me to remind myself that I have a good body to boot not Victoria
Secrets but the curves I do possess are in the right places. Sure it would be
nice to have a bit more up top bigger than a B-cup and longer legs…
I yank at my ponytail. What is wrong with me? I’m
standing here like a spare lemon that didn’t quite make it into lemonade. What
do I care-that some dumb actor isn’t bowled over by my erm…unique beauty, his
loss and all that! One day I might meet a man who is… tolerable, and if that
doesn’t happen then I’ll settle being the eccentric stunt spinster with a cat
or two and a chip on my shoulder, which I can easily kick off if I choose.

Check the post later on all you fine people of the real world! Comic, glamour, ditsy, saucy and perhaps true love! Who wouldn't want a part of that world? Finding your high heeled footing in this life isn't always trodden on a smooth road, in fact you must watch out for serpents, they can whip your heels out from beneath you and leave a very nasty stain!
