I once met her buying Xmas presents in a Copenhagen Boutique.Gobsmacked but not wanting to pass up the opportunity to speak to the Hollywood legend, I said. 'A bit of Christmas Shopping?'
Without a beat she sassily retorted, 'would look that way wouldn't it!' Her arms were overloaded with presents for her family. That voice was exactly how you expected it to be and her quick wit hadn't faded at all. She must have been 80 odd, still rocking the glamour.
Not the most interesting of anecdotes but she was impressive even in a minute.
I swear Rihanna gets her poses from her!
