TAKE MUM OUT? Mothers Day Ideas

With Mothers day looming, what exactly would you take from that sentence?

A common theme in our books is the overbearing mother, just because they can be; even though are own mothers are nothing like the mother's in our books.
What I get from that sentence is this....  okay with the rest of you?
